Meet HEGERLS at CeMAT ASIA and IIW Vietnam 2026

HEGERLS will meet warehouse and logistics professionals at two exhibitions this November. From November 3 to 6, visit Booth W2-C5-2 at CeMAT ASIA 2026 in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre for a live four-way shuttle scenario and discussions on rack-supported warehouses, cold storage and automated warehouse design. From November 18 to 20, meet the team at International Industrial Week Vietnam 2026 in Hall 2, Booth 2M109, at the Vietnam Exposition Center in Hanoi.
These events continue the questions raised at the 140th Canton Fair: how to add capacity, reduce manual handling in cold environments and choose the right automation concept. Shanghai will place those questions in a live operating context; Hanoi will provide time for project-specific discussions. Both begin with what visitors told us in Guangzhou.

What We Heard at the 140th Canton Fair

From October 15 to 19, visitors to Booth 20.1L17 explored four-way shuttle systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, intelligent racking and integrated warehouse solutions. Product interest often became a wider conversation about daily operations. A shuttle may attract attention first, but the choice of system depends on what must be stored, how quickly it must move and how the facility may change over time.

Cold-chain companies were concerned with making better use of refrigerated space while reducing unnecessary manual travel in low-temperature areas. E-commerce and distribution teams asked about changing SKU ranges, peak demand and the pressure that uneven order flow places on storage and retrieval. Manufacturing visitors focused on stable material supply, inventory visibility and the connection between warehouse movements and production schedules.

The common thread was the need to start with operating data rather than a preferred machine. Pallet or tote dimensions, load condition, SKU quantities, stock rotation, peak inbound and outbound volume, building constraints and software interfaces all affect the design. HEGERLS uses these inputs to compare possible configurations and to connect equipment with the existing workflow. The same planning logic is explained in this practical guide to warehouse automation.

Taking Those Questions to CeMAT ASIA 2026

The Canton Fair discussions also shaped what HEGERLS will emphasize in Shanghai. At CeMAT ASIA, the focus moves from explaining individual components to showing how they work together inside a storage process. Visitors can meet the team at Booth W2-C5-2 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from November 3 to 6.

A live four-way shuttle scenario will show how horizontal movement inside the rack, vertical transfer, storage locations and system control are coordinated. This gives visitors a more useful basis for asking about layout flexibility, shared lifts, traffic management, throughput and future expansion than a standalone speed figure can provide. Those preparing a project can also review the operating principles of the HEGERLS four-way shuttle system before the show.

The Shanghai display will also cover the relationship between automation and the warehouse structure itself. In a clad rack warehouse, the racking supports the building envelope as well as the stored loads. Because the rack, roof, wall cladding and handling equipment must be planned as one system, this approach is most useful to discuss early in a new-build or high-bay project.

Cold-store projects bring another set of trade-offs. Higher storage density can make refrigerated space more productive, but the design must still account for inventory rotation, door activity, maintenance access, temperature stability and exception handling. HEGERLS will use the show to discuss how refrigeration, racking, automated handling and WMS/WCS can be coordinated within an integrated cold storage solution.

The aim is not to present every warehouse with the same automation package. Some facilities may suit a shuttle-based system; others may be better served by a stacker-crane AS/RS, conventional racking or a phased combination of equipment and software. Bringing a layout, load data and realistic peak volumes will make an on-site discussion more specific.

From a Live Demonstration in Shanghai to Project Discussions in Hanoi

What visitors see operating in Shanghai will provide a natural starting point for the next stop in Hanoi. International Industrial Week Vietnam 2026 brings the conversation closer to companies planning new industrial capacity, expanding regional distribution or reassessing warehouse processes that rely heavily on manual handling.

HEGERLS will be in Hall 2, Booth 2M109, from November 18 to 20. Rather than assuming that a system demonstrated at one exhibition will fit every site, the team will use the Hanoi meetings to understand each project's building, loads and flow requirements. Visitors are encouraged to bring a facility layout, clear height, pallet or tote dimensions, SKU and inventory profiles, average and peak throughput, temperature requirements, current ERP or warehouse software and the expected implementation schedule.

These details make it possible to compare concepts on the same basis. For example, a stacker-crane system and a four-way shuttle system can both automate pallet storage, but they organize movement differently and respond differently to building geometry, traffic peaks and expansion plans. The HEGERLS guide to AS/RS and four-way shuttle selection offers a useful introduction before a project meeting.
